Food Trip!

After learning that I had the house all to my self this morning, I stocked up on loads of food, not necessarily complimenting each other, but all yummy nonetheless!

First stop: the gas station - I am already resigned to the fact that I will be running late tomorrow morning, so might as well fill the tank today. Talk about being prepared, huh?

Next stop: the grocery - Raiding the supermarket on a slack day was a bit lonely, but as the clerks had nothing better to do, they were all friendly and offered some warm morning greeting. I already knew what I wanted, and procuring popcorn, chips, yoghurt, and drinks takes but a few minutes.

Third stop: the drug store - Colds + Cough + Sore Throat = a few capsules of Solmux or Tuseran, nothing to it! Oh yeah, and a side trip to the ATM for a little more cash for my last stop.

Last stop: the drive thru - I never said this was a healthy food trip! So after the junk food, I concluded that fast food would complete the trip!

Nothing but good food, and a few good movies to celebrate a day of rest! Yum yum!

Gateway to Good Times

In our search for someplace to spend the afternoon, Julia and I found ourselves in the middle of One Gateway in Aurora. We were supposed to be going to Rockwell, but given that we did not know how to get there and back in Ortigas in time, we bought ourselves tickets to the MRT, braved Araneta and lo and behold! The sights and sounds of a new-found mall!

Wishing to get IN the Oasis..

Chillin' at the Dairy Queen's

Candy Wonderland..is this Wonka's?

After getting acquainted with our mall (a couple of hours, probably), we finally bid it goodbye and headed for Galleria to meet the rest of the team. A fantabulous dinner was served at Kamayan's. After some photo ops, a ride in Ma'am Lilian's Adventure, I was so ready to call it a night..

A toast to a 2006 SILVER STAR!!!

Picture-Loco

Somebody must have forgotten that we were four of the most picture-crazy members of our team. Needless to say, putting me, Mary, Julia, and Amorsolo together could only mean one thing: lots and lots of art-directed photographs! Movie posters would pale in comparison to these lay-outs! Anyways, it wasn't just the four of us who had a snappy good time during the pictorials..passers-by were laughing in disbelief with what we were coming up with!

Well, to the one who came up with this years theme, a one big HUA to you!
