In Hindsight

It's amazing sometimes how it takes something like sore eyes to give you a fresh perspective on things. Clouded my vision might be these past five days , I did enjoy the general lack of stress. Although, I might say, for a couple of days, being unable to open my eyes without excruciating pain, I really doubted my eye medicine.

Cliche as it may sound, realizing that pain did not kill you really gives you a better assessment of your strength. As for me, I realized that I do not have to be so bothered by a lot of things; I do not have to let them all affect me. In fact, I am now choosing to be less sensitive to what I might face when I get back. Call it being numb, but that's how I prefer it these days.

Quezon-bound!

Woohoo!! I get to travel again! This time, Destination: Lucban, Quezon.

On a sleepy Monday morning, MJ, Mary, Alicia, Laila, M'Lilian, Iking (of course!) and I went to Kamay ni Hesus to attend the healing mass and climb the grotto. Of course, we ate some filling breakfast that was so dirt cheap! Totally inexpensive, I mean. Imagine, one hundred fifty bucks fed seven people! Loved the scenery, the zigzag roads, the food, and the tiring climb!

Summer's Late

One of my biggest frustrations this year is that I never got to experience summer. The definition being: in the hot sun in the beach, basically bumming around. Nope, not that kind of summer. Summer 2007 was just hot days on a hot working environment. Nevertheless, we still got some swimming time. Never mind that it was almost rainy season when we got around to doing that. As they say, better late than never!

Hanging out by the pool: Popsy, me, Mary and M'Lilian
Wake up, sleepy Popsy head!
Synchronized swimming - MRL,AYS and IBT-style!

The happy FIVE...
