38 Days and Counting

It's official. Last week, RBL wished me good luck, and gave me the impression that he thinks i'll be better off with my decision. Yesterday, I've handed over my resignation letter and there were already talks about endorsements. It was bittersweet.

Though I've always wanted to do this, I'll miss almost everyone. It's been great fun at times, but I'm really tired. Suddenly, the realization that things will never be the same again hit me hard. I'm thankful for the people who touched my life and somehow, I hope, I made a good difference in a couple of people's lives as well.

My Little Bestfriends

As frustrating as this sickness is, I'm still thankful for the days off. Corneal Ulcer may be such a tremendous pain, but like everything, it, too, passes. I may never be able to determine what causes this for me, and I may have perplexed a couple of opthalmologists, but there's nothing else to do but try to endure the pain, and in the end, recover. In the mean time, I have to enjoy the company of my ever reliable bestfriends, headed by dear old Toby...

Hectic Halloween

I believe that I'm a pretty organized person, but it's chances like these that put my belief to a test. To say that last weekend was pretty stressful would be the understatement of the century. Talk about managing five birthday parties, two Halloween parties, and a booth operations. Not one of these was simple. But I've had help. I just want to dedicate this blog as a thanks for the people who helped me make it through. For Terry, for being the most matured and organized assistant ever. For Milton and Jan, just for covering the needed aspects of the party. For RV, who took care of added transportational needs. For Lawrence and Sarah who bravely manned the booth. For Jonnel who just simply asked where the next stop was going to be. For Sarah and Michael who helped a lot. And for Ms. Vanessa, who despite all the letdowns, handled the events as professionally as she could. Working with these people made me realize that there is indeed, a brighter side to things.
